The surgery went well yesterday. Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers! The doctor said it took less than an hour. So far, recovery hasn't been too bad (knock on wood). Ryan has been very helpful and I've gotten many supportive texts, phone calls and emails. My parents sent the lovely flowers above (sorry that they're sideways...I'll have to fix that sometime), which have brightened up our apartment. That's right, apartment. I got to go home yesterday and not spend the night in the hospital. How glorious is that?
